It is somewhat in decay and not very well kept, but it is extremely interesting to visit the sights and experience Stone Town while looking for souvenirs and just observing the Swahili culture and Zanzibar architecture. Poor facilities

My stay at the apartment was not comfortable, the staff at the reception were not very helpful, the rooms needs repair, the bath tub not working properly.. apartment not equipped with self tools for cooking etc.

For our family of 5, the 3 bedroom with living area seemed appealing. However, the cleanliness service and decor and maintenance were all subpar. There were: Missing tiles in the bathroom ; Broken light over the mirror in the master bath making it difficult to wash up/brush teeth in the dark; Kitchen was dirty (see attached photo) Kitchen did not have towels or dish soap to wash utensils; Front desk rep did not have our reservation and tried to quote a price of $250/night until I pointed out apartment was paid for in advance; We asked for bottled water because we understood you need bottled water for driving, brushing teeth, etc. the rep tried to charge us for it; Breakfast was included in the price-the “dining area” is very small and when we went to eat we were seated on the lawn Based on the above issues, we had to change hotels at additional expense. This property was terrible. I am seeking a refund from Expedia

Bad service!!!!

Möttes av extremt dålig service ochpersonal som hävdade att vi inte hade någon bokning, vilket ingen annan heller hade som hade bokat via hotels.com. Tog oss två timmer varav en timmas köande i telefon med supporten för att övertyga dem... den enda som räddade upp vistelsen var den trevliga servitören Mike, han gjorde sitt allra bästa för att bättra på servicen, all heder till honom. Hotellet har heller inget fungerande internet vilket sannolikt bidrar till att de inte får bokningar.... Rekommenderas absolut inte....,

the studio apartment is too small & choky

The studio apartment signified for two was two choky for me and my daughter with kitchen facilities. The bathroom facilities was inadequate for bath water access so the bathroom floor is always wet
