All the above. We had a cute little cabin but the microwave kept tripping the breaker. The staff apologized and moved us to another and it was an upgrade. We were happy with the original but this was a great surprise.

The wildlife and geology was an incredible experience. One that will live in my memory forever were the 4 wolves feasting on an Elk carcass. We missed the Grizzly who was there the hour before. Good to know that Yellowstone is there for perpetuity
NP staff were very helpful, attended one of the evening programs at the visitor center & enjoyed it. Enjoyed using the trails & boardwalks around the geyser field. Appreciated the historic character of the buildings.
Fall is beautiful time to go. Less tourists, but we had snow in the mountains
go in off season, October, less crowded. There were lots of Fall foliage tour busses.
Loved the park! Hated the facility. WE walked into our room and it was filthy. Bugs and cobwebs were on both of the windows. If you want to sleep make sure you are on the top floor. We were on the 2nd floor and heard everything above and around
Lake Yellowstone Hotel is on the mid-point off all the loops in the Park.
