"This has to be the worst stay ever. Only positive was location and it did have a bit more space than previous stays in HK. Staff very unfriendly at reception. The place was filthy as soon as we got in the lift. Paint peeling off, stained carpet and food over walls both in general areas and room. Picked up hair dryer to find water coming out both ends. Took to reception and they asked us if we wanted them to dry it out. Exhaust fan in shower not working and window glued shut. Mattress was collapsed on one side and had to put pillows underneath me to stop sliding out. On the last day did not have any running water in the toilet. Walked in one evening and corridor reeked of cigarette smoke. Not the standard you would expect from a Travelodge. Very run down and find the reviews hard to believe."

"Rooms a little older but clean and comfortable with everything one needs. Staff was helpful and courteous. Perfect location with 1-15 minute walking distance of busses, trains, ferrys, parks, outdoor markets, and harbour. Local shops, stores, and dining spots are plentiful."
