「We didn't get the type of room we paid for and the mattress was beyond uncomfortable, had a very thin duvet and only 2 very thin pillows. Spoke to reception the following morning and were moved immediately. Next room was more like what we were expecting. Mattress still uncomfortable where you could feel the springs, duvet & pillows were the same as other room. Shower head wasn't working properly, spoke to reception and to be fair she had it changed whilst we were out getting breakfast.」

The room was clean, and although I did have to change rooms due to a broken air conditioning unit, this was handled without disrupting my sleep or overall stay too much. Parking was straightforward once I realised you need to drive right up to the shutters to access the intercom for entry. That said, the hotel does feel a little tired in places. 「All the breakfast items was cold the room was clean but small and dated bed was solid as a rock think the 3pm check in is abit late surely they can get room done by 1pm definitely wont rush to say there again most probably use premier inn instead 」

「The property was clean but a little dated. Breakfast was good. The food in general was good. The room was very dated and in need of an update. The prices were extortionate for where it is, way more expensive than Kent on par with London. The biggest miss sell is the tv. It is advertised on Expedia as a 55” smart tv. It is not 55” and is definitely not smart. This was extremely disappointing as my wife and I were looking forward to cosying up in the room and catching up with Netflix as we are...

「Booked at short notice, the staff were very accommodating and the hotel easy to be in with a family. The rooms were lovely. The view from the property is stunning, we will definitely return. The only downside was the lack of gluten free options available from the bar menu. That is something that perhaps we could have mitigated had we not booked at short notice. The breakfast had all gluten free options available and was great. Strongly recommend a stay here.」

「I originally wanted to book from the 14th to the 18th but the system wouldn’t allow me to do that so I ended up booking one night and then after a couple of false starts I managed to book the other 3 nights. The first night I had a room with a shower which was very nice (lovely in fact). However the wi fi was terrible downstairs but works a lot better upstairs as I had to change rooms because of not being able to book all 4 nights at the same time. Really good otherwise.」
