"Stayed at the hotel for a bit more than a week. Looks very nice aesthetically. Very nice and flexible cleaning staff...that's where the good parts end honestly. Checking in was difficult, the people at the front couldn't find my reservation and were skeptical that I actually booked rooms. There were bugs and mosquitoes in my room, and I always woke up with bug bites. While checking out, the front desk said I was good to go. Half an hour later, I am bombarded with calls about some bills that I...

"Not the best expert: I arrived without local WiFi but taxi drivers didn’t know where to locate this place. They called the number I gave to them and there wasn’t anyone answering. I had to find a local hotel to stay. When I later asked for refund, they said they kept the room and refused the refund. Overall, pretty terrible."

"Amazing doesn’t even get you half way! This is an incredible hidden gem in Guilin. Nestled in the middle of the botanical gardens, this hotel is perfect! 10 stars! The staff is warm and welcoming and incredibly friendly and helpful, even for the non-Chinese speaking guests. The staff went above and beyond at every turn. This is a must stay if you get the chance. The rooms are huge the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. I haven’t slept this well in years. The included breakfast was delicious, they have a pool and a pool table, table tennis and a billiards table as well. Laundry machines which are free for guests. They have it all."
