In general good stay, the hotel is being recently renewed, but still some old furniture. The location is a bit far from city center and about 1.5 km to the nearest subway entrance. Staff is very friendly but if you don´t speak Chinese you must be patient (they will try with translator apps on the phone) In gerneral very good quality/price relation.

Beautiful Xi’an

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The service, cleanliness, and the overall condition of the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is outstanding. It is also located near public transportation and best of all it has a shuttle bus to airport right next door for only 25RBM

Sehr zu empfehlen, falls man Chinesisch versteht

Das Hotel is halbwegs günstig gelegen, 20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Westtor der Stadtmauer entfernt. Sehr sauber. Leider schließen die Fenster nicht gut, wodurch der Straßenlärm durchdringt. Niemand vom Personal spricht Englisch. Auch ein englischer Ausdruck der Reservierung hilft also kaum. Erst ein weiterer Gast, der vom Englischen ins Chinesische Dolmetschte, hat meinen Check in ermöglicht. Ähnliches dann beim Bezahlen des Zimmers. Wer später als 21:00 anreist und noch Hunger hat: Unbedingt etwas zu Essen und Trinken mitbringen, die Hotelbar hat nichts, nicht einmal Erdnüsse, die Minibar im Zimmer was komplett leer. Das alles ist für ein 4-Sterne Haus eigentlich nicht akzeptabel. Ansonsten hat aber alles gepasst.

great airport connection

Stayed at this hotel last 6 visits to china. My son teaches English in Xian. Catch the Airport Express bus (25 yuan) from airport to about 200 meters from the hotel. Not in the Tourist centre of town but very close. A bus ( 2 yuan) takes 10 minutes to the Bell Tower. I have never seen another westerner at this hotel but that's part of the experience. Great buffet breakfast.
