"Excellent choice for downtown Woodstock Twin Gables is within steps of the shops, cafes, eateries and fun that Woodstock has to offer. We were in town for a show at the Bearsville which was a five minute drive. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed was so comfortable. LeAnn was a most excellent hostess and her property is superb. "

"Great location, beautiful property, very cozy room with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our room had a private spacious garden too. The hot tub was a nice bonus and best of all, the Herwood Inn is dog-friendly!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hostess was warm and friendly and very accommodating, breakfast was fantastic. I stayed in the green room, and although had a "shared bathroom", I had it all to myself and felt very comfortable. I enjoyed hanging out in Woodstock - checking out the Kaaterskill waterfall and Platte Clove waterfall, shopping around town, having a beer with the locals. I had dinner right across the street at Alba's Kitchen - convenient and tasty. Great stay! Highly recommend this B&B."
