「Though I had paid for a super room , unfortunately the room was given was a box room with no fan . Hardly one person could walk around in the room」

「We (family of 4) stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t be happier! Our two-storey cottage was spacious, and well appointed with gorgeous linens and bath products. The complimentary breakfast far exceeded the ‘standard’ continental breakfast and the kitchen serves delicious meals for dinner. All the staff (Luca, Martina and Finn) were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here and eating a hearty pub meal!」

We stayed in the Old Justice room and despite not having air conditioning, we were able to open the windows to cool the room very comfortably. The room was beautiful and having the extra living space as a separate room made it feel so spacious and luxurious. 「Had a lovely stay over the weekend and was well looked after - shout out to Ellie who made sure I was fed and watered after my long journey. The only downside - the bed in room 5 is particularly firm, and as a side sleeper has caused me discomfort in my hips. Obviously it’s total personal preference but a soft mattress topper might fix the issue. The room itself was beautiful though.」

「The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.」

「We had an excellent experience in this hotel. It was the first time we visited this hotel. Located a bit away from the city centre, the hotel's deco, ambience and service were comparable to a 5-star hotel. We were particularly impressed by the service of Ali, proactive, considerate and detailed to meet our needs, even the unspoken. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and found them enjoyable. 」

「Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming. Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...

「Lots of character, authentic, old inn (original part built circa 1690) set in beautiful countryside. Some parking on site at rear, but one evening we had to park on the roadside. (It is a quiet road so OK.) There is a nice seating area in a garden in front of the Inn. Nice ambiance overall. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were good. The double room we stayed in was sufficiently quiet and of an acceptable size. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area.」
