Extremely disappointing stay and nowhere near the standard expected for a superior room. We had booked a twin room but were initially given a double. When we were eventually moved to the twin room we had actually booked, the condition of it was unacceptable. There was hair across the bathroom, stained bedding, significant dust throughout the room and heavy dirt and buildup around the extractor fan and light fittings. The coffee machine still contained water and used pods from the previous guest, which made us seriously question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned between stays. We raised the issues with the hotel and were offered another room, but unfortunately the cleanliness problems continued. We therefore checked out as early as possible at around 8am rather than staying until the normal checkout time. Given the price paid and the fact that we had booked a superior room, the standard was extremely poor. At checkout we were offered a 50% refund on the room and 50% off dinner, but given the incorrect room allocation and the condition of the accommodation, I do not feel this adequately reflects the experience. I would not stay here again.

To start with was easy parking and when entering the hotel was greeted with lovely smiley staff. It was lovely and quiet and very chilled not to busy lobby. We was showed to our room and explained what was what. Was nice ,clean and simple. The area is very quiet so sleeping was lovely, the bed was very comfortable but personally I prefer harder pillows ( but just bring one if need be ) surrounding area was clean very spacious. Was overall a great stay and would def come again .

A gem of a place.

The pub and Inn were so lovely , clean and comfortable! The staff , particularly Sorin and Amy took care of us like family when we were stranded due to car problems. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly, and the food is delicious . There are lovely walks and a beautiful medieval church nearby for exploring. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the UK.
