「Had a lovely time, staff were great and the food was amazing. Room was hot because no A/C but the provided fans.」

「A nice hotel set in 7 acres of garden with access directly onto the sea front. All staff were very friendly and helpful although at busy times at breakfast time they could do with more people to help out. The pool was a great asset in the hot weather and fans in the bedroom helped with the heat and was a nice touch. The only minor complaint I might have is the traffic noise from the busy road just behind the hotel. I had a bedroom facing this road ( the back of the hotel) and the traffic started...

「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「All in all it is what you would expect from a three star hotel, nothing really awful and nothig really great. Most of the recption staff were friendly and helpful but unfortunately not all of them as one receptionist in particular made feel like a naughty school girl if I ever needed to ask her anything due to her curt and abrupt responses. 「Wonderful one night stay. Huge beautiful room, air conditioning was a bonus in this heat. Loved using the spa facilities and outdoor pool. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Excellent breakfast.」
