"Everything was spot on. The room was spotless, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The staff were genuinely friendly, professional, and welcoming, which made the stay feel relaxed from the start. Breakfast was really nice and felt like being at home, especially the French press coffee, which was a great touch. The catering staff were super friendly and attentive without overdoing it. The location made getting around Edinburgh easy. A well run place that gets the basics right and then goes a step further. I would happily stay again."

"Room was very good - clean and spacious and it was good to have a bath in the ensuite and not just a shower. All the staff were helpful, courteous and friendly. A nice touch was the provision of mulled wine and mince pies each evening"

"Staff were fantastic and very friendly, especially the waiter in the bar. Hotel is lovely and a nice touch having mulled wine and mince pies out for guests. Room was big and clean. Bed was very comfortable as were pillows and duvets. Nice touch having the leisure facilities although pool could have been slightly hotter. Perfect location for princes street, Christmas markets, George street and st James quarter. Fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. "
