"We stayed here for one night while we were in Denver before heading up to Breckenridge, and honestly, we had a really great experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the overall service was excellent. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing night before continuing our trip into the mountains. The bed was comfortable, and the room was exactly what we were hoping for after traveling. We also really enjoyed the food and felt that the quality was great for what we paid. Overall, the pricing felt very reasonable considering the quality of the room, service, and amenities. It’s always nice when a hotel actually feels like you’re getting your money’s worth! The location was also convenient for us. It’s about 30 minutes from downtown Denver, which might be a little farther than some people want if they’re specifically looking to be right in the middle of downtown, but for us it wasn’t an issue at all—especially since we were only staying one night before heading to Breckenridge. Overall, this hotel was a great start to our Colorado trip. Everything from the room to the staff to the food exceeded our expectations, and I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Great job, DoubleTree! We really enjoyed our stay."

"This is a historical hotel, but that is definitely part of the charm. If you want a cutting-edge modern hotel, this is not be the place for you. Our room was very clean and very spacious. As a matter of fact, it was so big that the TV was too far away from the bed. The floor was creaky in spots, but I guess that has to do with the general age of the building? The bathroom was nice and I love that it had a door that separated it from the rest of the room. It did have a large soaking tub, but honestly I prefer a nice walk-in shower. Still, it was still nice. There was no mini fridge! I feel like that is a given with most hotels so I'm not quite sure why they don't have them in their rooms. Overall it was a nice place, but I did not find anything that would particularly make me want to stay there again."
