Alt Hotel Saskatoon

"The staff was so amazing. . Lovely room but ladies be sure to bring a proper make-up mirror as the lighting is very dim. Also would have loved a robe. Last - there is no mention of room service or any suggestions of good restaurants for food delivery. Nice lounge/restaurant. Once again staff was amazing. Food was good but have had better for less cost. Bottom line- I would stay here again. If you are undecided - it’s worth a try."

"The room was clean, although the pillow case and sheet both had stains which were obviously ones that the cleaners couldn't get out, as the linens smelled clean and appeared well-laundered. The hotel is a little past its prime, but is still nice. We had excellent service from the front desk staff, who were dealing with the issue of the internet being down and not being able to give guests keys. We were asked to wait until they could give us new keys and were told to go upstairs and wait for someone to let us in. It was no trouble to do so, and instead of waiting in our room for someone to bring the key, we just told the front desk we would pick it up later, and we went to the beach. When we returned, there was a new key waiting for us. The staff was apologetic, kind and caring. Quiet a few guests seemed unable to tolerate this glitch, as witnessed by an older lady who had demanded to be compensated for the inconvenience and was given a free drink at the bar. Also saw an older man have a bit of a hissy fit. People need to understand that real life happens and sometimes even the best hotels have to deal with glitches they can't control. I hope those guests who complained understand that the internet going down was not the fault of the hotel. Also, waiting to pick up your key for an extra half hour at the front desk is not a reason to complain!"
