"The room was clean enough, staff were ok. They were pet friendly as far as pets were allowed in, but I was shocked to have to pay £20 per night for my small dog! They said it was “all the extra cleaning”!? Breakfast better on day 2. "

"A beautiful, brand new self catering apartment. Was so clean and perfect we felt proud of it ourselves and wanted to ensure we kept it as lovely as it was when we arrived! "Apparently the management had very recently taken over the tenancy which according to the manager was left in a dilapidated state. There were cheap air fresheners all over the establishment. We asked them to be removed, but the smell was impregnated and we had to have the windows open the whole time, which was not great as the heating did not work and a small fan heater was supplied and was totally inefficient. We were asked what time would we like breakfast and when we went down the place was in darkness. We and other guest waited almost an hour when we had to leave. I have never ever had this experience before. I had some health problems as did a collegue as we both had water from the tap. Which may not have been related to the Black Swan"
