"The room was lovely on first impressions, not dingy or dusty just a few minor things - the shower was broken so you had to hold the shower head yourself, and there were black marks & what looked like chewing gum? stuck to the bedsheet under the pillow."

The cottage is a typical Lancashire / Yorkshire traditional house, with lovely views and within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, commutable to other neighbouring towns. The cottage itself has everything you need, a great pub "The Dog Inn" is a t minute walk."

"Absolutely wonderful property, interiors were fabulous, location a little on the remote side, but we enjoyed that, very quiet . Walk to the pub…fabulous. Lots of walking & cycling routes which is exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately we inadvertently brought home a pepper grinder that wasn’t ours & we left a coat behind. If the owners have any of our details we would appreciate contact to arrange a collection & return of your grinder. J & D"
