We had a wonderful mother-daughter weekend at the Embassy Suites in DC—far exceeded our expectations. We were well cared for from the get go with a special thanks to Elaf and Nabil! We loved being able to soak in the hot tub after dinner. The room was super roomy and comfortable and the included breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend it!

I found a cockruch in the bathroom one day and then another in the bedroom the next day. I told the staff the first day; they told they were going to take care of the problem but clearly they didn't.

This was the worst Embassy Suites I have ever stayed at. After driving all day, we arrived at the Embassy Suites at 8pm where I was told that their parking garage was full! I was told if I could find a parking spot on the street, I could park there but had to move the car by 7am. The other option was to try the parking garage down the street, and she rattled off some address I wrote down, never mentioning it was the parking garage for the Ritz Carlton which would have been very helpful instead of driving around in the dark trying to read the street numbers on the surrounding parking garages. Also, I had called the Embassy Suites customer service number twice in the days before our trip to discuss the parking situation and was assured it would be no problem. It was a HUGE PROBLEM. The breakfast buffet was so packed, expect to what in a long line for food, for clean dishes etc. They don’t have enough help cleaning off tables, it’s a zoo. We finally would get coffee at the hotel but would walk to a bakery behind Walgreens for breakfast instead of dealing with the chaos. Same could be said for the “happy hour” in the evening and the District Tap restaurant. They had two bartenders, one waitress and one bus person. That’s it. It’s chaos.

Have to wait long time to get the breakfast,no one come to clean the table. the pool is too small and too many people. The smell of the water is horrible . Can not stay in that area for more than 10 minutes.

Love staying here. Little surprise when they charged me extra $80 and was told $60 was for parking. Wish i knew ahead of time .. pool is also really strong with chemicals and made lungs burn but otherwise we really enjoyed it. Room was so nice and home-y. The shower was amazing. Breakfast was elite

Disappointed they had no business center. I didn't have my laptop and if I did the outlets on the desk in our room did not work. We booked here for the indoor pool and never could use it. There were so many kids! Think there should be an adult hour. Its a small pool for the size of the hotel. Free appetizers were veggies and chex mix. One night no ranch or tables left and the bartender was not very pleasant but probably overworked. Long wait in line to use the free drink tickets. Need more staff for the restaurant! Waited a long time. The waitress we had was very nice but spread thin. The free breakfast was great and many items. Never tried the made to order omelet because of the line. No orange juice the last day we were there. Only cranberry. Could do a better job on dish washing. I would probably pick a different location because of the distance to the Metro. The hotel was very clean. The bellhop was very nice getting our amazon packages. Great bed and pillows. Not alot of road noise.

Our room was clean, the pool served its purpose, and we spent a lot of time in the lounge area. The breakfast satisfied my family of five. The housekeeping attendants are slacking though. They would take our towels and not bring new ones, we ran out of the one roll of toilet paper we had for three days, our body wash bottle was empty, and I had to ask for a new box of Kleenex.
