I was very impressed with Highview Apartments. The staff was very friendly and helpful - they gave us a tour of our room, the gym, laundry facilities, and helped us schedule a cab to the airport for our last day - and the rooms were just what we needed, perfect amount of space. (the bathroom floors were even heated!) The wifi worked great. The apartments had beautiful views of the lake and the mountains, and were a mere 10-15 minute walk from Queenstown. I highly recommend them.

Staff was helpful. Clean, comfortable, everything we needed. Clearly organized, and meticulous attention to detail. I needed an extra pillow and management was quick to respond. Lovely environment, although outdoor furniture in our room could be easily improved. Loved the small town and downtown area. A four square grocery was a 3 minute walk.. and we enjoyed a hot chicken for dinner. We managed to plate it and enjoy that as a light dinner in the mini kitchenette space. One evening we...

Sherwood Queenstown

Queenstown

10/10 Excellent

I found this hotel completely by chance on Expedia. It was my absolute favorite hotel of the entire trip. You get a complimentary bottle of fresh, local milk at check-in. The rooms are extremely tastefully designed and modern. There are no TVs in the rooms, but it encourages you to explore what else the Sherwood has to offer. The restaurant and bar was some of the best I experienced. They grow their produce on site and make almost everything from scratch. You can even take yoga classes there...

Mövenpick Queenstown

10/10 Excellent

We stayed here for 8 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was always spotless, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job throughout our stay. One of our kids' favourite parts was having breakfast by the window each morning while enjoying the stunning views . It was the perfect way to start the day. The restaurant and bar were both fantastic, with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. We also really appreciated the ski storage room. It was convenient, secure, and made it so...

Hulbert House

Queenstown City Centre

10/10 Excellent

The Hulbert House is the best place I have ever stayed. The property itself is gorgeous and its location perfect. But what made this place so special was the staff. My friend and I had just come off a Viking cruise, where half the staff and passengers, including us, became sick with a respiratory illness. On arrival the staff anticipated our every need, before we knew we had them. They brought ginger tea and honey to our rooms as we settled in. They then made dinner reservations for us and...

Headwaters Glenorchy Eco Lodge

Glenorchy

10/10 Excellent

Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.

Chalet Queenstown

Queenstown City Centre

10/10 Excellent

Jessica and I stayed the night here on Saturday night. The staff is incredible, the room is so clean we felt like we were the first to ever stay there, there is free unlimited wifi, and great onsite parking. We had an incredible view and were able to make the short walk into town for all the great night life in Queenstown and all the restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Breakfast was amazing as well as the coffee. We would love to stay here again.
