"We felt like we were inconveniencing the staff on arrival. Bar staff took ages to serve you and to get your drink. We did not feel welcome at all. Or room was tidy and clean. Bathroom was awful. No separate shower so the bathroom just flooded and there was still a puddle to stand in, in the morning. Out door pools ( 2 ) where wonderful, but staff left a crab in one of the pools for an entire day and night so not really wanting to swim in that one. The setting was awesome, on the beach palm trees beautiful sunset really a dream come true. I would stay there again despite the staff and the room, as the beach setting was just stunning."

"amazing! amazing staff, great location, very convenient in terms of food and drinks! Highly highly highly recommend! you’re right on the beach, and the beach is very warm and very swimmable. The room itself is very nice with pretty much every single one of them having a balcony, as well as working air-conditioning, and very nice showers (robes included!)"

"The suite is lovely, although the pool is not heated and was far too cold for us to use during our stay. There could be more linens provided, towels/tea towels were sparse. The most concerning part is that we were awoken on our third day there by someone trying to enter the apartment at 4:45 am. They tried the front door, the patio door and also entered the yard to attempt entry from that angle. We informed the hosts and there was zero comments or follow up about it. While we recognize potential crime is not the hosts responsibility, the fact that there was no follow up was alarming, especially since this is in a gated community and we reported it to the guards too. Overall great spot, disappointed about the service though."

"Whether you are traveling with others, or entirely on your own like I was, The Ideal Bed & Breakfast is a fantastic choice! The family and staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming, creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere. I loved the convenience of their airport pickup and shuttle service, as well as the daily afternoon tea at 3:00 PM. If you are looking for adventure, definitely ask about their guest tours. They organized an active trek for me where Freddie handled the driving and Jerome guided me all the way to the peak of Mount Batilamu—an unforgettable experience. They offer clean, comfortable accommodations to fit any budget, ranging from shared spaces to private rooms. It is also perfectly situated within walking distance of a tourist-friendly grocery market, restaurants, and primary tour hubs. Highly recommended for an authentic Fijian experience!"
