A somewhat older property in good repair and possessed of much charming character. Located steps from Wailoaloa beach but without the noise and crowds of the beach clubs. As a family operated hotel the owners are involved in daily operations. The restaurant shows the top local rating on Google Maps. Portions are ample.

It’s nothing but mobile home structure with no sound barrier. One can hear everything going on in next room. It is way expensive for what they charge. Had great expectations but was not satisfied with accommodation or amenities.

Haken für die Kleidung wären gut, normalerweise ist die Decke über dem Leintuch, hier ist es umgekehrt. Das Essen ist gut, ein Supermarkt in kurzer Distanz zu Fuß erreichbar. Es dauert lange bis Nadi mit dem Bus, um 6 Uhr morgens fliegt das erste Flugzeug am Guesthaus vorbei und leider wurde um die gleiche Uhrzeit hinter dem Haus Holz gesägt. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cannot recommend. Better options 1/2 block away.

The staff was pleasant. The pool and room were not. The pool had visible green algae residue as we walked past and the room was poorly lit with an archaic lock assembly that did not appear at all secure. There were no toiletries except a tube of shampoo and remnants of previous occupants soap bars on top of the shower door rail.

The room was clean but no shampoo or conditioner, no milk in the fridge for tea or coffee.Next rooms radio very loud into our room. I was sick and trying to sleep but staff calling out loudly to each other was annoying. $20 corkage for wine opened in your room is outrageous. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Short Summary :Bed bugs, no Wi-Fi in rooms, no hot water, and significant cleanliness issues. Positives first: after requesting transport for a 5am arrival, we were pleasantly surprised and appreciated being greeted at the resort. Unfortunately, the stay quickly went downhill. Our "villa" was a demountable with thin adjoining walls. I scratched all night and discovered bed bugs, some still crawling on the bed sheet. We were moved to another room without question. The location is convenient, close to Wailoaloa Beach, restaurants and bars. Service-wise, some staff were friendly, while others were uncommunicative. No Wi-Fi. We were told it only worked in the common areas, and there was no connection in the rooms. Not acceptable in 2026. This should be clearly disclosed, as all guests would expect in-room Wi-Fi. The rooms are tired and poorly maintained. We found dirty pillows, grimy drains, worn fixtures, stained toilets, and general cleanliness issues. Doonas are supplied without a bottom sheet, directly against your body and appeared to be sun-dried rather than laundered between guests. There are no pool loungers or pool towels, rooms are serviced only every third day, and proper hot water was generally unavailable due to ageing solar water systems. Daily smoke from a rubbish incinerator metres away burning plastic and refuse filled nearby villas. Overall, despite some helpful staff and a good location, the resort falls well short of basic expectations.

We stayed at the Beach Escape for 4 nights. If you looking for glamor and fanciness then this ain't for you.But if you ,like us want a home away from home then this is for it.The personalized service by the staff made up for everything that lacked. Best of all was the food..simple,tasty dishes with prepared with alot of love. They have a bar poolside tables that add to a very calming ambience.As Fijians we are proud to have been able to experience and support an iTaukei owned business.We totally recommend the Beach Escape.

The staff were absolutely AMAZING! We arrived an hour before check in, and they accommodated us without any hassle. As two college girls staying here, we never once felt unsafe walking around at any point, night or day. The AC worked FANTASTIC, and we actually were cold a couple of the nights. The one thing I will say is that the entire bathroom wall between the bathroom and the bedroom was semi-opaque glass, which was a bit awkward as two friends staying together and i could anticipate this being a problem if the room is occupied by a family. But 10/10 stay!! Abby especially was amazingly helpful and greeted us by name every morning/evening when she saw us. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants a safe, welcoming space to return to every night!

Let's face it, Nadi is not cheap. Comparing prices we found this, an old school resort in an an area (Wailoaloa) that is soon to be covered in resort hotels. This place is old(er, not a shiny new condo. The people are great, food is excellent, the price is right. Locals use it when coming over from Suva, 'nuff said.
