「Beautiful hotel, lovely staff. Only concern was room ten, loaded with low beams (obviously for support) by precariously placed for guests. One large beam on left side of bed, so dangerous. Even after sliding the bed to right side I managed to smack my head. We felt as if we were crouching every time we were in the room. I’d suggest moving bed to other side of room by door, it’s a bad accident waiting to happen…」

「Experienced a very problematic check-in. I had to go in and out of reception 3 times before getting the right room. Although I booked for two days, they only programmed the card for one day, requiring me to check in at reception again for the second day. There are still shower repair tools left in the room. The good thing is the hotel is new and located near bus and tram stops. This was the messiest reception service I have ever experienced.」

「We booked an ‘arty’ room, really comfy bed and nice & quiet. Secure overnight parking, ideal stop off point from France to UK. A little out of town but if it’s just a rest stop you need then it’s ideal. Really nice bar area, super dog friendly & nice food served in the restaurant (opens at 7pm and food isn’t available before that, although the lady behind the bar kindly heated us up a pizza as we were ravenous!)
