"Beautiful hotel - old charm and very grand! They have lovely sitting room and furniture all through that is beautiful. Service was fabulous all around and they even accommodated a last minute New Year’s Eve reservation for us. The breakfast is incredible- fresh baked options are so delicious, and the setting was lovely. Only minor bit was the shower - it didn’t drain well and was tiny. The location is also great - close to good restaurants and major sites easily accessible. There is a convenient taxi stand just next door. "

They were polite ,professional and competent. This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! "Check in was with alesseo who was helpful and professional, and took only a few minutes. He gave us a couple of restaurant recommendations - we tried both during our stay and they were excellent tips. We were very happy with our room which was a good size, I note other comments about some areas being dated but that didn't bother us"

"Staff was exceptional! Room was very comfortable and clean. The only thing that we didn’t realize when we booked is that when there’s a cruise ship docked there is absolutely no view, all you see is the side of a ship. However when there is not one docked, it is beautiful and very peaceful! We loved the location and felt very safe. "
