Great location, hospitality
It was a great experience. The hotel is only 2 minutes walk to the beach, a wonderful location to see the sunrise. The room was clean and equipped with everything needed. The front desk, Jennifer as I remember, was very helpful. She waited for our late check-in and got everything ready. When we needed a kettle, she didn’t bother to find one for us even though it was time to go home. We feel so sorry that we forgot to leave tips before we checked out. We’ll definitely live there next time we spend holiday there

Perfect little old school spot with a great surf and beach charm. Very quick walk to a great little beach. Everything in town was less then 15 minutes away, Dogertown and airport as well. Meg was the hostesses with the mostnesses. Very attentive with any and all needs and genuinely cared about us and our stay. Hope to be back next year and will stay here again if so.

We love staying at the Seaspray whenever we come to Vero to visit family. Comfortable, welcoming, and not at all fussy; plus the convenience of a kitchenette, the ability to borrow beach chairs, all of this makes seaspray our favorite home away from home.

The lodge is a wonderful vacation stay for so many reasons. The suites are comfortable and have everything one needs. The beds are very good! The staff is generous with their time. And, ah, the location! The short walk to perhaps the finest beach walks one could wish for. You will have a great time at this very quiet and very Floridian resort!

The location is wonderful, very close to South Beach and several nice restaurants. Parking was good at the property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms need to have the bathrooms refurbished - were useable but in poor shape.

If I could give this amazing places 20 stars I would. If you are looking for quiet, peaceful and tucked away, this is your place. One block from the ocean, close to shops and restaurants and just an overall connection with the beauty of this part of Florida makes staying here magical. We love Meg who just makes us feel like we are meeting up with an old friend every-time we come back. We love staying here and cannot wait to come back.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here so much. Meg was so helpful and friendly. This property is lucky to have her. I loved the surf vibe the hotel had. The rooms are very comfortable and have a small kitchen. The beach is a very short walk from there. The property has beach chairs and umbrellas you can use which I loved. The pool was clean and a great place to relax. It was hard to leave. I would highly recommend this property and I will definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Vero Beach.

I absolutely loved my stay. The manager Meg, couldn’t have been any nicer. The room was spotless, the courtyard and outdoor seating very clean. The beach is 3 min away…walking…This will be the only place I stay, when I visit vero beach. It’s on the quiet side of town, in a beautiful neighborhood.

Sea Spray Surf Lodge is a unique independent hotel a short walk from the beach. It is a 50s motel with many original features. What makes the surf lodge such a pleasant place to stay is Meg - a one person whirlwind and our go to person during our stay. Our trip threw up some unexpected surprises and to have had Meg's friendly support was invaluable. The pool is great - you can ask for additional towels (without charge) to use at the pool or beach. The rooms come with a oven/stove, microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator, coffee maker and kettle. An additional coffee pod machine is available for free in reception. Within walking distance is a Pizzaria and a Creperie (pancake restaurant). There is a 7 Eleven a few minutes drive away, but you'd be better driving across the river to the Walmart Neighborhood for a bigger range. (You do need a vehicle to get here!) UberEats and DoorDash will deliver here too.

We just returned home from a wonderful stay at the Seaspray Surf Lodge, upon pulling up the place is adorable. Everything is nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. We had a little kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator. The shower was OK and the water pressure was not amazing but I would come back here in a heartbeat because of the property manager, Meg. She made our stay incredible, I haven’t had this kind of service at even luxury hotels. We locked ourselves out of the room and she had to come from 20 minutes away and had a big smile on her face the whole time. No one was coming into our room after us so she encouraged us to enjoy the beach a little longer, she was just so incredibly hospitable. This is a very small boutique hotel so you saw a lot of her. If she was a bah humbug, this would have been a very awkward stay, but she wasn’t, she understands hospitality very well. Thank you, Meg! PS The location is amazing. Beach is a couple minute walk.

The Seaspray Surf Lodge is a beautifully restored Florida beach motel. Very vintage feel, but super clean and nice. Terrazzo floors, large room, well appointed, bright and clean. Staff is nice and the guests are too. The property itself is only a block from the beach, and a short drive or bike ride from the old part of Vero Beach - the one with restaurants and bars. There are also a couple restaurants within walking distance. Plus lots of amenities - bikes, beach stuff, washing machine, and about a million bottles of emergency sunscreen. We'll be back.

This is the Lodge you wish for when you go on vacation the stuff was superb friendly everything was clean and the rooms were equipped with everything you would need for a vacation. They have cable TV and wifi, a kitchen with all the equipment and a fridge with a freezer. The pool is right in front of the doors, and the ocean is just a few steps away. There is also a good pizza place around the corner. If I am ever in this area of Florida again, I will definitely go there again.
