Ledgestone Suites Hotel Vernal

Ledgestone Suites Hotel Vernal

10/10 Excellent
"We were visiting Vernal for the hot air balloon festival. The location of the property to downtown was just a few blocks (walkable). The location to the middle school was very close and it was easy to walk there for the morning balloon launch from the middle school. Parking is easy. Ledgestone is near a grocery store. It has a small kitchenette with a full size fridge which was nice for drinks, snacks, and other food items. It caters to guests who are staying for an extended time but we found it comfortable for the two nights we were there (2 adults and 2 children)."

"I liked the hotel for it's location downtown. It's about 2 blocks away from the Uintah Conference Center. Sadly, the hotel/motel is old but very economical. The toilet worked intermittently, the furnishings were basic, it had a TV, served breakfast, and there was a wi-fi for the Internet. There was no pool, no phone, nor a place to exercise"

"The staff was great. Very friendly and accomodating. I did attempt to use the pool one morning at 7:00 AM, but it had a sign saying it didn't open until 10:00 AM. I was sure I had read something on the web site that said it opened at 6 or 7:00 AM. So I went back to my room and got showered and ready for the day. When I was almost finished with breakfast, the manager came into the dining room and said she would have opened it early for me, but by then it was too late. The door to the pool should give some indication that it could be opened early on request."
