The Peace Lodge is a tranquil escape. There are not very many rooms, so the grounds are quiet. You get the opportunity to walk through the animal sanctuary on the grounds. The location is beautiful, safe, and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious, with something slightly different each day, and it was delivered right to our chalet. Always a wonderful stay here! Great location, rooms are comfortable and nice, breakfast is nice to start the day, and the pool is my favorite spot to hangout and relax.

The Peace Lodge hands down has the best staff I have ever had. We felt like family there. The General Manager, Roy, was our favorite. Freddy at Guest Services, Daniel and Melvin at the restaurants, Henry and John who worked w/ animals were A+ staff!
Beautiful town, a bit too quiet for my taste.
I would highly recommend a trip to this area. Exactly how I had envisioned classic Costa Rica!
