"The hotel is a hidden gem that overlooks a beautiful waterfall. The majority of the rooms are a decent walk from the lobby which we weren't aware of but the walk took us through out the beautiful grounds of the hotel. The spa was fantastic. One of the best massages I ever had. Very little English is spoken at this hotel expect by two workers. Hugo was fantastic! He made sure we knew where we were going and took care of us. Alan was very helpful as well! Would definitely stay at this hotel again...

"We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay at El Santuario! The location is breathtaking. We went Monday through Wednesday, so the resort itself was pretty empty. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves! The room was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the bed was comfortable. We went to the Spa and felt total bliss. It was magical. For any non-Spanish speaking travelers who come here, it's important to know some basic Spanish because we only interacted with a few staff that spoke English....
