"I made a booking after reading all information on the website. It looked good and convenient to Ella. Well, the trip up the mountain to reach the Red Rock was positively dangerous! It was slippery, muddy, very narrow and steep. To top it off it was raining! I arrived in a trembling mess and found that the Red Rock was dirty, smelly, had not mosquito nets and I was stuck there!! There were no restaurants I could access, so I ate fried rice for my evening meals (at an additional charge). At...

"Great little friendly hotel in beautiful Ella. Walking distance to town, restaurants and pubs. The hill Is a little steep to walk but if you find it hard you can get a tuk tuk for a couple of dollars. The room was clean and tidy and had a nice balcony. Staff really helpful. Totally recommend."

"Stayed in one of the cabins which had a nice view of the trees and mountain, saw lots of monkeys in the trees. Pool was a short walk from the room and peaceful with nice views. Staff were all very helpful making sure we were comfortable. Wifi connection in cabin not great but good connection at restaurant. "

"The hotel was clean and the rooms were great. The only drawback is the steep climb to the hotel.it is in the center of town and you can walk to restaurants, shopping and bars. The chef made food packages to take on the train trip- which was lovely. "

"The room was basic but it had almost everything we needed. Cons: the wifi didn’t work very well, the bathroom was basic, and the fridge didn’t work. Pros: the bed was comfortable, the property was quiet but still conveniently located, and we got to watch monkeys swinging around in the trees outside. The host of the property was lovely and he served up a great breakfast each morning. Overall I did enjoy staying at this place. "
