「This is a really fabulous small hotel. The mostly young staff are wonderful and have really good customer service skills. The room we had was large and warm and really nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable with sufficient pillows and some nice cushions.It was apparent that thought had been put in to all aspects of our stay. 「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. 「I had a lovely stay at the Exeter Inn! Michelle and Martin gave me the warmest welcome, and the whole place felt instantly inviting. I met up with friends from Bampton for dinner, and the Festive Christmas menu was excellent — beautifully cooked and full of flavour. I stayed here for business so I needed to do more work in my room, the staff were happy for me to take my dinner up into my room and the rump steak that I had was incredibly good. I was also up and out in the morning too early for breakfast so the staff made me a packed lunch which was really nice of them. 」
