「Place is quiet and cozy. Surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets. Just 2 things need to be improved: no slope in the entrance that people have to lite the luggage up to get in. Also staff provide with the wrong entrance code and I arrive but have to wait outside the door in the evening. Others are great.」

「We really enjoyed our stay at The Modernist. The hotel is in a quiet and lovely part of Athens, though very quick and easy to visit the main attractions from here. Breakfast was fabulous and staff all friendly and helpful. Kolonaki has many great non-touristy restaurants too. Would highly recommend. 」

「It was a clean room - but I noticed some stains and such. The photo canvas above the bed was crooked seemed like someone needed to redo the nails on the walls. The duvet was just a simple linen cloth, so was quite cold during the night. Unfortunately, could hear the people next door late at night which didn't help, and the outside cars/traffic. You can walk to the major areas within 20 minutes which wasn't too bad.」

Die Unterkunft ist nicht für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen geeignet, viele Treppen, kein Fahrstuhl. Einziges Makel: das Frühstück wird nicht am Buffet eingenommen, sondern man wählt aus einem Menü und erhält eine Box und speist im Zimmer oder auf der Terrasse des Hauses. 「I loved having an apartment Kolinaki - it’s a very safe and pretty area with nice restaurants and high end shops. Once I got in touch with the host, communication was great but I had to call first to confirm everything. The wear of the show was the rooftop porch with a view of the acropolis and being able to watch the lights coming on as the sunset set. Great little kitchen and it was nice to have a washer dryer.」
