"Very comfortable and clean hotel. Some funny quirks in our small kitchenette room, such as you can’t open the freezer fully due to the bed being in the way. The air conditioning unit is quite loud and dirty but cools the room the room down nicely. The coffee maker needs some cleaning. My kids and I were disappointed in the new hours for the slide from 4-8pm. Last year they were able to access it in the morning and after 8:00pm. We were only here for one night and had plans during that time frame and they did not get to ride it. It’s a fun slide and part of why I chose this hotel. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast has everything you need."

Richter Pass Beach Resort

"We were only there for one night as we were on a road trip. We never did see any staff as the office was almost always closed but they did have our check-in ready for us and we were able to text when we left. The best thing about Richter Pass is the location! We loved having the private beach access which we enjoyed and we were able to walk to a restaurant in the evening about a kilometer away for dinner. It was nice to take a break from driving. The room was very clean and roomy. The only room complaint is that exterior lights are left on all night and the room does not have room darkening curtains or blinds. We also couldn't find any access to ice. It might have been somewhere but since we didn't actually see any staff we couldn't ask. We would stay again if room darkening curtains were installed or the lights were turned off by 11 pm."

"The photos Expedia had in their description was deceiving. I had been to this motel before so I knew what I was booking and what to expect. I can see someone who is not familiar having a problem with it. It also says you do not need to pay now but once you book you will receive an email from the Motel themselves collecting a deposit and full amount needs to be paid before arrival. Expedia should really update these details on their listing. Outside of that everything was fantastic. The staff here are amazing, so friendly and helpful and I can not wait to go back next year."

Avalon Inn

8/10 Good

"Our stay at the Avalon was good. The rooms was a tight fit for five as the pull out couch took up the entire front room, but we made it work. It was cozy and clean, and having the kitchen space was great for cooking. The back room was warm as the air conditioning is in the front with the pull out bed, but if the door of the bedroom stayed open, it was manageable. The front desk fella was very helpful."
