Osoyoos Lakeview Inn is a nice motel. Lots of available parking. Our room had a view of the lake and mountains. and just outside of it, there is a balcony area with table and chairs - where we spent our evenings talking and relaxing. The room itself was clean and had a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, tv, dishes and small dinning room set. The bathroom was spacious, there were complementary packaged hand soaps, acreams, make up remover wipes and shampoo. The only down side was the bath tub - it was clean but the shower head was old and a bit hard to get the water to spray evenly. Peanut Lake is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. At the lake there is a rental place for canoe, paddleboards, etc. The motel has a barbeque area, which you are free to use at anytime. The pool was nice and clean, we did not use it as we chose to walk to the lake instead. There is also a Laundry room in the mote but it is only available for use October to April.
Nester's market, BC Liquor store, Boston Pizza, Shoppers Drug Mart, Ice cream, candy stores and downtown Osoyoos are about a 15 minute walk from the motel. Unfortunately, we did not walked downtown as it was too hot too walk.
If you are like us, looking for a clean and economical place where after spending the day exploring and sightseeing you can go to shower and have a goodnight sleep then Lakeview Osoyoos Inn is the place for you.
