"We had a great stay! The room was clean with a great view of the city. Hotel staff was very pleasant and friendly. The hotel was close to so many restaurants, shops and things to do! We would definitely stay here again! "

"Hotel is wonderful, clean spacious rooms and nice staff. Would definitely stay there again . Very close to time square so convenient. Only complaint would be the wait to check in , the line was almost a hour long at 4pm. And the security guy was very rude to all of us and more than once during our stay . "

"This hotel is filthy. This is a sky rise motel at best. We were on the 11th floor and no one told us that the rooftop bar goes until 4 AM shaking our room and keeping us up all night. Music blasting till 4 AM. No vending or ice machine machines no coffee on site. Entire hotel reeks like weed. Hard bed on the floor. "

"I was pleased with my stay at The Capital Hotel. My room was clean and the staff were helpful. I was pleased that during my week stay it was very quiet at night (inside & outside). It was only during my last night that I heard people talking in the next room, and someone snoring (faintly heard in my room). Lol. But generally, it was quiet. The room was a good size. It all looks relatively new. The bathroom was roomy & modern. The bed was comfy. The hotel is on a semi-commercial street, with other hotels & new builds around. It isn’t a nice area. But it’s very fast to get into Manhattan. It’s a 9 minute walk to the subway….., then two stops to the Upper East Side. There’s a 24 hour deli & laundromat nearby as well as numerous popular fast food options. There’s government housing nearby, but I always felt safe. If you keep to yourself you’ll be okay. I’d stay again."
