"Great stay! The location is perfect, so easy to hop on the subway and just a quick stroll to Times Square and Bryant Park. Seeing the Chrysler Building right there was a huge plus. Housekeeping was on point, too, with clean sheets and towels every single day."

"We loved our room, it had such a great view! Comfortable bed, staff was very welcoming and everything was very clean! The only thing I would say is that the shower head kept sliding down."

"In line one hour to check in. Billing errors took four trips to the counter to correct. I was given a $200 inconvenience voucher for use on the property just before I checked out, so it was of little use. Service here is a mess right now. After years of loyalty to the Palace, I doubt I'll stay there again. Not the same place any more"

"Overall: You’re getting what you pay (or I guess don’t pay) for. It’s a cheap hotel. Hotel: Rougher part of the city, but close to some fast food restaurants and a subway entrance so it made getting into Manhattan easy. Staff: Checking in and out was quick, but I didn’t interact with them outside of that other than once right after checking in. Room: Smaller than I had expected. It was on the first floor, so I could hear everything from the lobby. The window looked into a creepy back alley, so I left the blinds shut the entire time. Mattress was wrapped in plastic underneath the fitted sheet, and there were just two pillows, a sheet, and a thin fleece blanket with a hole in it on top of the bed. My lamp had no light bulbs, and when I asked the staff, they said they have no extras and no housekeeper. Bathroom: Basic, basic amenities (hair dryer and towels). No shower soaps. The hand soap in my bathroom was already opened, so I didn’t use it for my entire stay. They had given me fresh towels on my third day and one of them had a hole in it."

"Stayed in accessible king bed suite (unexpected upgrade from standard king room). Great space if needed for any with mobility issues (e.g., walker, wheelchair). Sitting room, bedroom, and large, open bathroom. Comfortable bed. All clean and well maintained. Complimentary umbrella & bathrobes for use during stay. "
