Dear Ms. Carling or anyone using third party on-line booking agencies. It is always a good idea to call the hotel directly to confirm that the hotel has received your reservation which you booked on-line. On rare occasions, sometimes third party on-line bookings do not successfully populate the hotels reservation system!I know you're upset Ms. Carling, and want to trash us, even though we did nothing wrong. At least be honest with your review. We immediately reserved you another room in a 5-star B&B down the street and offered you and your family a complimentary dinner at our fabulous lakeview restaurant. Sadly, you refused our offer and wish to vent your anger... I get it!I do have sympathy for your situation, but there is nothing more we could have done to rectify the mistake of a third party.
