There are not a lot of options for inexpensive stays in Troy. We picked the Best Western based on previous reviews. The staff was outstanding and the breakfast good. However, our carpet in our room was very sticky and the bed mattress was sagging and very uncomfortable. After driving 8 to 10 hours all you really want is a comfortable bed.

This was our second time staying here on our way to Florida. The parking was great and lot lit up and safe. Our room was clean and the beds so comfortable. We only had 5 minutes to get breakfast and they insisted we get some and take our time eating while they cleaned up. Food was so good and the mini waffles were the best! The staff here are so incredibly nice and friendly. They have the best customer service and treat you like family. Thank you for another great stay!

We had trouble opening our door when we first arrived, and it continued to get jammed occasionally during our night stay. Additionally, the toilet kept running and spraying water everywhere. Fortunately, I knew how to fix that, but not after using up all the towels in the room (only had 2). We had to keep the lid off of the back of the toilet tank in order to manually flush it every time. The side entry doors never did work, so even though it was shorter to go through the side door to get to my room, I repeatedly had to go to the front door. The breakfast was mediocre. The room air conditioner was rather warm. The property however, was very clean in the bed was very comfortable, and everyone was at worked there was nice, so there’s that. It also felt like a fairly safe area. I would actually probably stay here again as long as they fix the maintenance issues.

~The woman at the front desk kindly allowed me to check in 3 hrs early. ~The free coffee in lobby was very much appreciated. B'fast was good. ~ Fridge in room kept things cold, coffeepot in room worked well ~Bed was comfortable, sheets clean ~I usually wear flip flops in hotels but briefly had them off. The carpet in the room felt sticky and bottom of feet were black in minutes, left black footprint on tiles in bathroom. Wore shoes rest of stay. Carpet had been vacuumed but definitely needed to be steam cleaned. ~The heavy, mirrored closet door fell off the hinges when we opened it, but fortunately, no one was injured. Did tell the staff and they said they were sorry that happened. ~Parking lot and front entrance ok but had some debris and needed blowing off
