"I chose this hotel believing it was close to the city centre as my stay was short . However ,it was almost 50 mins by bus to the grand central station ..Saying that the bus was less than a 5 minutes walk across the park and was quite frequent . It gave a pretty good view of suburban Amsterdam .I won't recommend the metro to get to the hotel . The hotel was lovely though . The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean when we checked in but wasn't tidied properly the following day we had one less towel so had to request another. . The hotel safe was a bit dodgy as I swore I had closed it after the housekeeping opened and reset it .I found the safe opened on return from sightseeing luckily with what I had left inside it . This hotel would be better if there was a spa as there was no pool ,nor entertainment especially where it is located . The restaurant food choices wasn't exciting There was a convenient shop next to the hotel which sold hot and cold snacks hot beverages and other items .it is really convenient and purchased water from there as there was no bottled water in the room . The hotel had snacks but at a premium price"

"The shuttle was really late for pick up. The front desk gave me the wrong timing for dinner at a restaurant, the burger place food leaves a lot to be desired. The room is not well thought out - took awhile to figure out how to turn the lighting the bathroom (it was connected to the light for the hallway on delay), no outlets by the bed to charge technology, no hand towels. Basic hotel, somewhat outdated."

"This was rated over 8 on a scale of 1-10. I honestly don't understand how. I am not a super picky person and I understand that for the price I paid I am not getting a first class experience. With that in mind it would make zero sense for me to complain about the size of the room, which was pretty small, but can accept. What is worth mentioning is that the air conditioning didn't work. It was uncomfortably warm in there. The next night we opened the window and got some relief, but couldn't keep it open because there was no screen and there were mosquitos. Additionally, the sink didn't drain properly, so we had to be very careful not to rinse our mouths into the sink after brushing or it would sit there for hours while it slowly drained. I did not bring any of this to the attention of the staff. I didn't want to bother them and figured there was not much they could do anyway. Maybe I should have and they would have moved me to a different room. They were very nice and polite or other questions I had and also made sure we had the size bed I had paid for, so that was nice. Would I stay again? Maybe. It depends on what else was available when I booked. the location was definitely convenient."

"My family and I LOVED this hotel! Nice, large comfortable room with good space for 4 adults. Fantastic breakfast with good options for snacks and supper. Wonderful warm pool, steam and dry sauna, and weight room. There is laundry on site for a small fee(soap included), a market and a movie theater. Free shuttle from Schiphol airport and the return trip is 5 euros per person. We will come back!!"

"What a great experience! This place has such a cool vibe. Rooms are tiny but modern or even futuristic! The “living room” atmosphere on the main floor was funky and fun. The food and drink was great. We really enjoyed our stay, so close to the (at) the airport! Loved it!"

"The rooms in this hotel are fine, if a bit cramped for 2 people. The staff are helpful. The buffet breakfast is excellent. HOWEVER, here is an important tip: Do NOT eat in the hotel restaurant. The menu is very limited, and some of the items are very odd, including a cauliflower dish which was barely edible. And the lemon tart was not properly cooked. The chef lacks basic skills. So, avoid the restaurant."
