「After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. 」

「What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.」

「This was an absolutely perfect apartment for our two-nights stay in the magical town of Stonehaven. It’s a spacious and quirky space whose beachside location could hardly be bettered.」

「Had a lovely stay here. Room was sufficient, bathroom was clean. Bed was comfy. It's in a great location. 15 mins from train station. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was a cold buffet, cereals, toast, yogurt, pasties anc coffees, teas, orange juice. Great, would stay here again.」

「We didn't pick this place ourselves, as our original booking cancelled two weeks before our trip, so Expedia picked this one for us. The place was very clean and neat, owner was very friendly and helpful. Only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't use the washer and dryer as it was additional fees that weren't mentioned in the posting, and the dryer wasn't working right anyway they said in the house rules.
