「Our stay at Villa Marina was excellent. We were given a very warm welcome and the room was very comfortable and everything we could want was provided. Beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was well cooked and served beautifully. We would be very happy to stay there again.」

「What a lovely place! Spotless, well appointed room with simple, fresh decor. Bathroom also nicely done, with fabulous fluffy towels. Breakfast was super tasty with a great selection of options. And the hosts are really lovely; helpful and friendly without being overly attentive. Not far from either Torquay and Torre stations so great for those not using a car, though parking was also available. Highly recommend and will be staying again next time I’m down in Torquay.」

「The BEST guest house i have ever stayed in The room, guest house and garden area was incredibly clean. The owners treated me like family and jumped straight on an issue i had with the shower - genuinely could not have had a better stay. I will absolutely stay there with them again」

「When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality.」

「When i checked in the people were so welcoming and friendly, close to the city centre of so easy walkable to the pubs and shops. My room was a decent size for 1 person, nice and comfortable, the only issue i can think of is the bathroom was a little small and hot water took quite a while to come through, Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, i will definitely stay again if I come back to Torquay.」

「Overall we had a lovely time. The place is just looking a bit tired and old fashioned. The decor is a mishmash of themes with some questionable colour choices and looking a bit rough round the edges. However finding a hotel that accommodates dogs is fantastic and location is great. Staff are friendly and you can tell thy work hard. 」

「Rooms nice amd clean. Reasonable amount of parking. Nice sea view from the breakfast room. Some wind noise on breezy days, noticeable outside my room, no 7. Large bar with some functions at weekends, but the noise wasnt too intrusive. Overall an enjoyable stay」
