What a lovely place! Spotless, well appointed room with simple, fresh decor. Bathroom also nicely done, with fabulous fluffy towels. Breakfast was super tasty with a great selection of options. And the hosts are really lovely; helpful and friendly without being overly attentive. Not far from either Torquay and Torre stations so great for those not using a car, though parking was also available. Highly recommend and will be staying again next time I’m down in Torquay.

A lovely stay at The Briarfields. Charlie and his wife were welcoming and helpful. The room was modern and tastefully decorated, and the breakfasts were delicious.

A great find.

I have stayed at this property twice for work purposes, it is in a great location for visiting Torquay and has off street parking. Very friendly couple who run the accommodation and a fabulous breakfast included.Lovely and clean with a warm welcome.

We had an absolute wonderful stay at The Briarfields. Julie Anne and Charlie were amazings hosts. Lots of home from home touches, breakfast was delicious. Although it is sited on a road due to triple glazng slept perfectly. 2 train stations walkable nearby which are walkable. Can definitely recommend.

A wonderful place to stay with off road parking. Upgraded to a suite on the top floor which was a beautiful room. Plenty of space, a very roomy bathroom, air conditioning and a king sized bed. The whole place is immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Complimentary milk and water in the fridge and lovely homemade biscuits in the room with plenty of tea and coffee and a small coffee machine. Breakfast was preordered the night before with a wide variety of choice and was delicious and very hot. Nothing was to much trouble and Charlie would bring out a homemade cake for us to try. A nice touch of the beach huts for table numbers and a treasure chest with the condiments in. We really cannot praise this place enough and will definitely return

Modern B&B in a history house. The room was large enough with a comfy bed, modern bathroom/shower, and a mini fridge available. Reasonable walking distance to the restaurants, waterfront in Torquay.

An excellent 3 day stay away at the Briarfields

Charlie and Julie-Ann made the experience at The Briarfields relaxing and very welcoming during our 3 day stay. The room was superb, spotless and clean with a comfortable bed. Charlie is a superb cook and takes pride in his culinary skills. The breakfast was excellent supported by Julie Anne. We felt very welcome and at ease and would recommend others to stay at The Briarfields which is an easy walk to the harbour and other amenities.

A very positive experience

Can't fault this lovely B&B in any way. It's clean, nicely laid out, and the owner is a real gent. He helped me with my kit from the van, made a lovely breakfast and was professional and friendly. The room was quiet, has everything you need and the decor is simple and modern throughout. This B&B offers very good value for money when considering the service I received. Top place!

What a superb find. Charlie and Julie-Anne are friendly hosts with bright, light and very luxurious welcoming accommodation. They provide all those important small things often missed by large hotels, like fresh milk in the fridge. Genuinely interested in their guests and extremely helpful with information about the local area and amenities. Highlight of our stay was the impressive choice of food offered for breakfast, all freshly cooked and served to very high standard. Only disappointment was that we only had a brief stay whilst visiting the theatre. Definitely a place to bookmark for future, hopefully longer, visits
