It was a great joy to find this hotel. It is as good as any top hotel I have stayed at over the years, with a friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms, and very convenient location. We were worried with 2 adults and 3 children in one room, that it would be too tight, but we found that the room was a good size (corner triple) and accommodate us easily. The views of Tokyo from the room and shower were impressive. The breakfast buffet was a nice spread of Japanese and Western offerings. The Capitol Bar had a nice feel to it for a late night whisky (though note that it can be smoky in there as smoking is allowed and they have cigars on offer). The added bonus is that the Tokyo Metro is connected downstairs to three main lines to take you anywhere in the city, including Tokyo Station. Where the subway entrance is, there is also a 7-11 for any quick needs you have, a convenient snack, or an ATM. Right outside is also a wonderful Shinto temple up an impressive set of steps, so if you have a moment, do check that out. The second bonus is that the hotel is near the grounds of the Imperial Palace, and there it an excellent (and picturesque) running path that goes for about 3 miles around.
