Room bigger than most places you would find in this area but the building and rooms themselves look old and dingy. Though the location is great for what it is. Super close to the train station and 1 stop away from Shinjuku.

Hotel room smells wet and moldy. There were towels by the window to help soak up moisture. Beds were also very springy and hard, so very painful sleeping on your side. But the bathtub and shower were nice. But the area was very convenient. Below the hotel is Don Quijote. The Shin Okubo and Okubo stations are about a 5 minute walk. And Lawson, Family Mart, and 7Eleven are all within a 2-3 min walk. Overall, was an okay stay but would not book again.

Hotel was good for the price, spacious room close to transport links. The rooms could be updated and cleaned more. You can’t take your room key out of the property, it must be handed to staff and you need to request it back when you return. Had a lot of back and forth trying to get our keys back when we re-entered, would have preferred to just have instant access to our room.
Quite impressed with the size of the rooms!! We decided to stay a bit off the beaten path as we were in Tokyo for 9 nights. This hotel fit the bill! Trains a 2 min walk, plenty of restaurants and convienence stores basically 1 min from Hotel. The facility is a bit dated, but very near and clean and the staff was extremely helpful! Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Tokyo!

Don't like the stairs. The alley shared with a supermarket goes into the hotel has quite a lot garbage. I appreciate the manner of the staff especially one female staff, so friendy
Definitely value for money with the low room rate, considering the big size of the room, which looks dated but is kept clean, and its decor is actually quite nice. WiFi connection is good. Bed is comfortable. Just enough electric sockets to use. The toilet and bathroom are in an separate area. Bathtub is big and deep. There's a big window but no view as it's a frosted glass and can't be opened. There's a microwave oven outside of the corridor. The surrounding is very lively, with many shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores. Korean town is not far away. Also close to two JR stations.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO ELEVATOR.
There is an elevator inside the actual hotel, which starts on the second floor. There is no elevator from the ground level up to the lobby on the second floor. This means if you have an accessibility need or have heavy luggage, please look elsewhere.
The room had holes in the wall, only one outlet near the bed, and various cracks on the walls. It is definitely quite run down, but it's whatever for the price. The staff also require you give them back the key when you leave to prevent you from bringing anyone else into the room.
The location is great, though! A very quick walk to Okubo or Shin Okubo stations which have easy access to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and Akiba.
Great location, wonderful rooms and very helpful staff. I really loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to others and stay again. Thank you!

Great location on JR rail line , hotel needs to be refurbished
Room has plenty of space. The bathroom is really big. However, the restroom is too tiny.

Best location but 1. No elevator to front desk, not easy fir woman with a big luggage and no one help ;D, 2. Must leave room key before going out every time (why? Haha) 3. Can't bring friends to visit in the room (i think this one is too much) but the location is very good, very convenient and the room is clean, very big, good and big bathroom, there is a bathtub too.

Strange rule where you had to leave your key with the front desk. Felt insecure as when I asked for my room key they did not check my identity making me think anyone could get my room key. Also there was now clear window in my room it was foggy and I couldn’t see anything outside. Room also seemed lived in as walls and ceiling were a little dirty.
Beds were clean and room was massive for what I was paying so still worth it.
Really didn’t like how we have to give in the keys every time we went out. They say it’s 24 hours but we got locked out twice, once for over 30 minutes. Staff said ring the bell and they’ll come, we rang it and still didn’t. A fellow customer had to personally go find him. The room was outdated and stuffy, bad air quality. Charging ports were also in inconvenient places. The dryer also fell apart when I used it, leaving my clothes dusty and a waste of time and money.
