It was close to higashi-Ikebukuro, a subway station that, when tired, was a great station to go to as Ikebukuro station is a bit farther of a walk. All in all, had everything we needed, nothing fancy, just what was needed which, given the price, was excellent.

Such a nice hotel! I wasn’t expecting much for the price I booked it for and when I got there I was so impressed. The room was really nice and it was so clean. Small but enough space to move around and unpack.

Amazing reception staff! The rooms/washrooms can be cleaner upon checking in, but nothing to be upset about. A few loose hairs in the washroom during the visits (not my hair), but overall a very comfy stay.

Great hotel

Stay was pleasant, room very clean and staff were all helpful and friendly. Love you can take bath bomb at the counter, and other toiletries. Will come back if visit Tokyo again!

The staff at this hotel are amazing. Helpful and very nice. They accommodated us as best they could despite our mistake of booking a wrong room. And they were understanding and did their best despite some language barriers. Would recommend!

the only downside of this property in my opinion is no on site laundry, the rooms are only cleans once every 4th day. but the staff was friendly, the location is amazing.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. Like last time, and the reason why I stayed here again, the staff was really friendly and helpful, and the area is relatively quiet and well connected (Higashi-Ikebukuro station is right around the corner). This time, though, I was really disappointed with the cleanliness. My room was dusty and looked quite run-down upon closer inspection, and there were stains all over the room (bathroom, near the window and the AC) that looked like mold. Not very great to stay in even if it was only for three nights.

My stay at Hotel Resol Ikebukuro was excellent! The room was actually spacious. Loved the bathroom amenities that we could pick up from the lobby. The staff was friendly, and helpful. Our flight was at night, but the hotel allowed us to store our luggage even after checkout. Very convenient area - close to a Lawson/7-11, and 10 minute walk to the train station. I would stay at this hotel again!

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's clear that the condition has deteriorated noticeably over the past two years. The mattress has a visible sag on the side facing the TV. Complimentary water is not provided daily. Additionally, the elevator used to require a room key card to access the floors, which offered a sense of privacy and security. Now, anyone can use the elevator without restriction (only a warning sign sticks on the buttons).

Very cozy room!

Very cozy room with almost everything you need, even the shoehorn and shoe brush! Stuff like toothbrushes and body cream is only available in the hotel lobby, so you'll need to get what you need before going up to the room, which I'm totally okay with it!
