「The staff was amazing, from the front desk to the cooks and even the ladies cleaning the rooms. They had positive energy and attitudes. Gave great advice on places to go to eat, entertainment and site seeing. My children and I enjoyed our stay and will be back soon.」

「1 of the tvs didn’t work both remotes didn’t work moldy food under beds mold or something by sink broken switch broken plugs on table outlet disgustingly stained chair and bench. Wish I would’ve asked for my money back and just left honestly. Staff was great but room made me want to never come back. Honestly probably won’t.」

「Where to start. Check-in was so easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was so clean and comfortable. There were drawers to unpack, unlike the highly rated Lincoln hotel in Chicago, where all of the suitcases took up floor space! Unfortunately a very severe storm came through and we lost power, in fact no power within 15-20 miles. The staff was exceptional! They would refund that night and any others if you had booked them. They helped those that chose to move down towards Toledo...

「The place was closed due to power outage. No communication about this. No phone call no email. Upon arrival the place looked abandoned. Siding falling off the building. Windows and doors dirty. Outside play area looked unusable. Grass has not been cut or trimmed. Weeds growing throughout the parking lot. My four year old granddaughter said the place looks scary.」

「I have stayed at this property many times and have had great experiences in the past, but I have never had any problems. This time I had a big problem and the staff was incompetent and willingly inept. I was staying in a room that had a walk-in shower and every time you took a shower it flooded. I told the girl at reception the next morning and asked for my room to be cleaned. She said oh yeah we have a problem with that shower and we need to have it recaulked. when I took a shower the next...

「Area was very nice. Enjoyed the outdoor space. Please though, check your rooms for common amenities. There were no hangers in the room for clothes. The website did not list if the room provided a microwave and fridge and I was happy to see that it did! I contacted the owner and asked if a hairdryer and iron with iron board was provided. The owner was happy to put a hairdryer in the room but could not provide the iron/ iron board. Over all we would stay there again.」

「The place is charming with high ceilings and big windows, and we even had a fireplace in the room. I am not sure if it works or if we were allowed to use it. it was summer anyway. However, there was no microwave in the room or the hotel as a whole, and there was no ice machine, the kind of things that you would need at a hotel. The hotel had a parking lot in the back, which is a great amenity when the hotel is in a kind of a busy area (not to say that anywhere in Clinton, MI is busy!)...
