「The room needs a lot of maintenance. The door is swollen and almost impossible to open, close and lock. The one window needs to be replaced. The lamp light had to be replaced, as well as the TV. The amenities in the bathroom were extremely sparse. There were no facial tissues. The patio was full of weeds. Breakfast was the best meal. All the staff were very nice and provided excellent service」

「I stayed for one night while visiting my daughter at Chichester University and had hoped to find a hotel I could use regularly, but I will not be returning. The website says parking is available, but the hotel car park was difficult to find, extremely small and full. After a 2½-hour drive, I had to navigate a very busy town centre to find alternative parking, all of which was chargeable. The limited parking needs to be explained much more clearly before booking. I arrived at 2.30pm, but my...

「We stayed 4 nights in "the annex" of The Nags Head while attending the Goodwood Revival in Sept. Although the price was crazy expensive at £450 per night for a basic hotel room and breakfast, at the time we booked we couldn't find anything cheaper that was as close to the train and bus station. (It's an easy walk through the historic center, past inviting shops and restaurants.) The "annex" rooms are around the corner from the main in and pub, and the separation was no problem. The area felt...

「We had a very pleasant two-night stay thanks to being made to feel so welcome by our hosts, Rosie and James. Contact beforehand was great with a super demo video on how to enter the hotel. Rosie was a lovely host; her local recommendations were top-notch and truly made our trip. It happened to be very hot while we were visiting, so having a fan provided in the room was a thoughtful touch that was very much appreciated! The hotel has a lovely communal area at the entrance where complementary tea,...
