「The landlad, Linda was extremely helpful. She booked golf tee time for us at a nearby golf course. soffiicinet free car parks provided. Quite near to the city centre. free wifi od strong signal. A extremely warm and comfortable B&B. A bit expensive in the weekend but I think that is Edinburgh in weekend.」

「Clean /warm rooms and beds, nice staff, nice view, great price, ~15min walk down the main street to old town and right next to hiking spot. 「We had a lovely stay at Abbey Strand Apartments. The apartment was very clean and was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Although the apartment is quite small it was a perfect size for us as a couple. The only negative was that the information regarding check-in wasn’t very clear as to which doors we had to use. We ended up going round by the side of the building through a gate and we were stopped by a woman in a security uniform. She was very pleasant and helped us but this was...

An elderly couple who couldn’t speak English sat in the front lobby, often. I’m not sure if they worked there cleaning rooms or were a guest but if the worked there they made no attempt to communicate or help out, which was an issue because the front door to the building on a busy street was always left open」
