ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile

"Perfect location, right in the middle of old town and easy walking to lots of the major attractions and restaurants. Small grocery store right next door was great for snacks, drink, and cheap and easy breakfast. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the room was small but had everything we needed and was surprisingly quiet for being in city center. The bathroom was a little odd, seems like a modular unit they dropped in with saloon style glass doors on the shower, but it served our needs just fine. The staff was great, they are clearly used to moving a large amount of people in and out every day, and even though check in was busy it was very efficient and everyone was kind and friendly. The AC was ice cold, which was amazing, because it was quite warm while we were there and most hotels we stayed in didn’t have AC. Great balance of price, location, and features, would stay again."

"This is a nice hotel and the staff was professional and helpful. The rooms are very small but quiet. It is a good stay unless you need to park a car. There is no visible street parking due to its location and the closest car park was 35 Euros for overnight parking."

"The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the station, with an easy shortcut available. Rooms are nice but show some wear. The proximity to the train station and the attractions made this hotel absolutely perfect for a quick trip to Edinburgh."

"Great location. Castle view on the 5th floor. Right in the center of everything. We went for the Tatto & had a repeat each night going to sleep hearing bagpipes. Breakfast was great value for the price. Alot of food and convenient to have at hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful"
