The hotel is very nice and in a great location…….However they are renovating part of the hotel so we were woken up at 8.45 regularly by banging! This is supposed to be a refuge from jet lag and to relax on vacation! Often we needed a siesta to help with that! No chance!! The renovation reaches its peak between 11am and 6pm! When we told the hotel that it was unacceptable they just apologized but no solution! But seriously ASK when you book in not to be put near the renovation project! The fact that this was casually dismissed is not good enough!! Try better and prioritize your guests comforts!! I gave a three star for location, nothing else!

Water filter machine in the room made the water taste like chlorine. Staff refused to send a bottle of water to my room, bar was closed. I had to go out at 3am to buy a bottle of water - atrocious service. In addition, the air conditioning was almost non-existant, it's either broke or just poor quality. The switches for the lights are on the other side of the room to the bed so you can't control from bed, this switch uni also has a bright blue light on it that lights up all night. Easily the worst hotel I've stayed at in Singapore. -5/5
