「It’s a remote beautiful property, can’t really walk to anything. Internet connection works in the room & on the property throughout. Absolutely NEED a car to go anywhere. I’d put dark curtains if it were my hotel since as the sun rose, it woke me up way earlier than I wished… I’d also not charge for breakfast & make available lactose free yogurt & milk. There’s a supermarket with lots of choice, a short car ride away, Sklavenitis. It sells all kinds of fresh, local fruits, local vegetables,...

「A blessing by chance. We missed our stop at Mykonos and had to detour to Ikaria. On the spot booked this hotel. We arrived and throughout our stay, we fell in love. Irene was the most sweetest and helpful person. The people of the town, also so nice and friendly. A beautiful hotel, accommodating, and a simple nice breakfast. We can't express how grateful we are to Irene...and if you need a taxi, we recommend Stelios. Just ask around, you'll get his number. He's well known, helpful and honest.」

「Séjour de 4 nuits. Belle chambre dans petit complexe d’habitats individuels de type traditionnel. Très bon confort. Petit déjeuner en option, bon mais un peu cher. Piscine agréable. Attention, la route pour rejoindre l’hotel est très mauvaise depuis le village. Rouler TRÈS lentement et prudemment. Excellent accueil.」

「Schöner Ausblick, einige Restautants Fußläufig gut erreichbar. Rezeption selten besetzt, obwohl sich dort der Safe befindet, wo man dann nicht dran kommt.. Allg. kaum Personal anzutreffen. Keine Begrüßung, auch nicht am nächsten Tag. Ein Zettel lag an der Rezeption mit Zimmerschlüssel. Frühstück für 2 Sterne ging gerade noch. Heissgetränke lauwarm, Omlett kalt, Brot, nur Weissbrot meist trocken Käse/Wurst eher Zimmertemp. Tomate, Gurke, Feta, manchmal gab es das, auch nicht kühl. Steht alles...

「We were so fortunate to find a room available at the Karras Star. We had a rental home with no air conditioning and had to leave due to the heat. Karras was cool, clean and safe. And the staff was very friendly especially the daily housekeepers, and Greg at reception. THANKS 」

「:) - well equipped i.e small kitchenette, idillic location with stunning sea views! nice & quiet up the hill. :( - little to no contact with the hosts, it was the owner of the neighbouring hotel that showed me to my room. also no cleaning / bins emptying etc which after 4 days was not great!」
