"Very nice hotel and the balcony and beach views are unmatched. Breakfast was great with lots of options. My only complaints are that the walls are terribly thin so can hear normal conversations in the next room and that the air conditioner ran constantly and is loud when trying to enjoy the beach and balcony"

"The hallways and stairwell show their age and they do smell old and musty. But the room was immaculate, up-to-date, very comfortable, and refreshing. The bed was so comfortable and pillows were just right. The A/C worked well without being too loud. I will stay here again if I visit Traverse City."
Park Place Hotel

"The bar located on the 10th floor made for a nice destination in the evening offering beautiful views of the Bay and downtown. The bar staff was friendly. The only downside was having to climb the steps from the 9th to the 10th floor. An employee mentioned the elevator to the 10th had been out of commission for a couple months. We can easily climb steps, but some may find it difficult."

"We like the location and parking is simple. The cleaning staff is excellent- friendly, hardworking and a lot is expected of them beyond job of housekeeping, as no one else is around. The hotel is very clean. The front desk is not “ manned”, though lovely to look at upon arrival. The “ computer” access is unavailable as the printer has no paper and keyboard is locked down. Not available at either of our stays. Breakfast is not what we expected. Cold cereal, cold eggs sealed in a bag with an October expiration date?! And previously frozen, dried pastry. Not fit for anyone.Disappointing. With so many great options to be healthy and “ unique” , why not offer a small and wonderful way to break fast? Highlight was Vietnamese pour-over room coffee!! It was amazing & great surprise! Also loved the availability of washer & dryer!"
