"Breakfast was available for $14 per person, so did not try that. We were in and out numerous times and the front desk people never bothered to look up to acknowledge us. The room was nice and the bed was great, but the showers were bad - hot water wouldn't stay on for more than a couple of minutes, then got cold, then warm, then cold, etc. Major negative. Location was awesome! So many things to do nearby and a very pretty setting. The workout room was okay, but did not even have a treadmill. "

"This place is very dated and absolutely awful. There was so much wrong with the room that I don't know where to begin. There were stains on the sofa and chairs in the living room/kitchenette area. Even the lamp shades in the bedroom had stains on them. Not sure how that could've happened but quite frankly I don't want to know. It was just gross! The rooms need to be updated starting with repairs to the walls, a fresh coat of paint, and furniture replacement. The carpet should also be replaced with LVP if they allow pets in the hotels. That's just common sense!! Sonesta needs to do better! I will not recommend the Sonesta hotels to anyone visiting the area for graduations on the Naval base. Definitely book your stay and better hotels for a bit more money per night or stay right on base at the Navy Lodge!"

"Clean room. That’s about where the positive feedback ends. We received the wrong type of room that we had reserved and prepaid for. I overheard a staff member telling another customer that they were sold out, and because we were pressed for time we decided to keep the incorrect room that we were given. Toilet area in the bathroom was incredibly small- so small that my husband and I would have to either keep the door open while using the bathroom or step into the shower in order to close the door. Closet had awful saloon style doors that shut on you when accessing the closet. Uncomfortable beds. I was charged twice for our room due to a payment issue, but the staff member I spoke with a few minutes ago on the phone corrected the mistake and assured me that my refund was coming in about 5 days. We won’t be returning and can’t say I’d recommend this specific Hilton property to anyone."

"The room was not great. The bed lamp was unplugged and there was no socket close to plug it in. So I had to get out of bed to use the lamps in front of the room. The toilet after every use had to be flushed 2-3 times. Where the vents were for the ac had broken wood around it. It was not a great room. Definitely expected better."
