We based our stay on that and made dinner reservations but they had sold out of the Sunday roast by our reservation time. We would have prepared or planned better if we were advised about this. 」

「Un hôtel particulier raffiné tenu par un couple adorable et accueillant. Tout est beau, typique de la classe britannique. La maison est spacieuse, cosy, la chambre magnifique. Tout est préparé avec soin. Le jardin est très mignon. L'hôtel est bien placé, près de plusieurs restaurants. Parking pratique privé. Petit déjeuner délicieux, typique écossais avec des produits de qualité, tellement bien cuisiné. Petit coup de coeur pour leurs deux chats magnifiques et accueillants. Une adresse à garder....

「Balnearn House is a lovely B&B in a small village. The rooms are comfortable and there was a nice garden area. There were a couple of nice restaurants & pubs within walking distance. The owners are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.」

The facilities are top notch, lovely, clean and quiet room (7) in the Courtyard, huge and very comfortable bed and a very spacious and spotless bathroom. 「Clean room, lovely decor. Little touches that made it all that more cozy and welcoming. Decorative wallpaper, throw blanket and pillows that matches the room decor. Just lovely. Bed wasn’t super hard which I loved. Book beds are usually miserably hard and this was nicer would have loved memory foam even more, but they did have one in a room it was just booked. Lovely hosts. Alyx was great, as was Derrick, Gary and everyone at the hotel. Would def return! 」
